Our Team
Brandon brings a proven track record of driving sustainable growth and operational excellence within leading financial institutions, through a blend of strategic vision and hands-on leadership.
Prior to co-founding 49 Lantern Holdings, Brandon acted as a Chief Operating Officer in Private Equity and Credit Secondaries at Coller Capital and in Leveraged and Acquisition Finance Banking at Credit Suisse.
Brandon, originally from South Africa, is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Post Graduate Degree in Financial Accounting from the University of Cape Town. In his spare time you can find Brandon running in Central Park training for his next marathon.

Michael Edwards
Managing Partner
Michael brings decades of experience building, scaling, and acquiring businesses within market-leading companies.
Prior to co-founding 49 Lantern Holdings, Michael led teams at EY that successfully launched new digitally-enabled businesses while also advising corporate boards on emerging technologies. Prior to EY he grew businesses at Bloomberg through acquisitions, partnerships, and joint ventures. He spent the first half of his career in management consulting and investment banking.
This unique combination of hands-on business building and strategic acquisition experience directly informs his mission at 49 Lantern Holdings.
Michael holds an undergraduate degree from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, where he was elected an Edward Tuck Scholar.
